Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti celebration at Devchand College Arjunnagar

The 130th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was celebrated at Devchand College ‘Golden Library'(Suvarn Library). The program was introductory and welcomed by the head of the library Prabhakar Pol. The image of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was worshiped by all dignitaries. On this occasion, an exhibition of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s books was presented.
The speeches were delivered by Kabir Warale Guruji, Dr. N.D. Jatratkar, Vice Principal Dr. M. M. Bagwan,Vice Principal Kanchan Patil- Birnale, Dr. Ravindra Diwakar and Prof. Nanasaheb Jamdar who praised the work of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Speaking from the presidency, Principal Dr. Prakash Herekar said, “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s work is eternal. He worked to give voice to Dalits, victims, exploited, deprived, women. He used his knowledge and writing to create an egalitarian constitution on which our country is governed. It is our first duty to awaken the thoughts and act accordingly. “
For this program, Prof. Ravindra Chavan, Prof. Shivaji Kumbhar, Shivaji Jadhav, Dr. Kishore Gurav, Bhalchandra Ajrekar, Pradip Pavle, Santosh Pradhan were present. The vote of thanks was taken by Assistant Librarian Shrirang Jabde.
